How is involved a subwoofer in the Nitrous?

Question How is involved a subwoofer in the Nitrous?

What's the use of connecting the N2O to the subwoofer? In the pic you can see the trunk of a Silvia with 2 Nitrou bottles connected to the sub. Why do they do that?

Maybe, but it will only cool them when shooting.
I think it's a bit nonesense. But are only hypothesis. Thanks anyway
