Default Bottle mounting ideas...

Okay, the Z is already as impactical as it comes for storage. I really would like to put some go juice in her soon, but with my subs, there is no way that I can fit a full 10lb bottle in my trunk and still have room for some luggage. First off are there any good smaller bottles out there other than the "sneaky pete" set-up ? Also, has anyone toyed with the notion of putting the bottle in the compartment behind the driver seat? Somehow I can just see a disaster waiting to happen there, but any ideas?

CB - I had the same problem with my '87 Corvette so I just set the 10# bottle in one of the pockets directly behind the seats & the only downside was that, with the bottle in a vertical position, I couldn't get all the nitrous out of the bottle but probably averaged 7# of product per fillup. The other upside was that it was easy to open the bottle ( bear in mind that this was before the advent of remote openers - hey, I'm old!! ).

Mounting the bottle in any other position than properly in my opinion is a No-No. I can lead to less than ideal performace of your system. You may be able to place a 5lb bottle in the "glovebox" behing the passenger seat. Talk to the guys at NX. They can help

Isn't the formula something like

1lb = 60 seconds @ 100 hp

That's what I seem to remember anyway.

I mounted a 10 lb. bottle in the compartment behind the driver seat. Actually I mounted the brackets up above so the bottle actually hangs in there diagonally.
