Default Hot Compacts & Imports Tech Article on Jime's Maximizer

HCI is just out for Nov 2004 with the article on my Maximizer Install.

This gives the greatest nitrous control possible and its going to get better as soon as I get my newest FJO Wideband this week that integrates with the Maximizer. (FJO makes the Maximizer for NX)

They also have an "Advanced Analysis Software Package" available that can log data in armed and disarmed state for N/A tuning.

You can download and test the latest Maximizer and Wideband software here.
http://www.fjoracing.com/

Only problem is that its more expensive than a base NX kit ($775), however if safety and maximum power is your aim this is the way to go.

You can download and test out the software from FJO.

PS If you do buy the mag there is also a tech article on the LM-1 Wideband by my Son (DSMJim) that he installed on his DSM. I think there are at least a couple of guys on here that use the LM-1.

775 is just for this maximizer? isnt that a bit steep?

Thats the retail price, you can get them in the $500 range but they aren't cheap.

I now have my FJO wideband that integrates with the Maximizer so I can set the A/F to cut off at any setting so its a great safety feature and much quicker and reliable than a FPSS.

Will be going to the track on sunday to give it a whirl, now that I have my 1 gal cell setup to run 114 unleaded through the whole system vs just the nitrous previously.

Just the Maximizer and the wideband. I have an S-AFC II to adjust the a/f. The race gas does have an affect on the a/f ratio so I will have to retune a bit. Presently I tune for a 11.5 on spray and 13 N/A.
Rest of my mods are on my homepage. I use the race fuel mostly for safety because I don't retard the timing.

My mods are on my homepage.

Ya its the FJO setup, I have to have the logging to be able to adjust the a/f with any accuracy.
