The D3 is also, on the way out, becasue Pioneer has the D4 coming. You can probably scoop the D3 real cheap, and bang for the buck, best all in one on the market.

 

D4? crap.... well i know im not gonna splurge to get that right off the back like i did the D3, i paid like 999 for the D3 and now u can get it bundled with everything else i bought for like 800

 

Thats what happens when technology is new. They get as much as they can for it, and then drop the price, as it's on the way out. We were selling them for $949 for while, now Circuit City is selling for like $699.

I was gonna bring it to autotrend but then I decided that since the shop my uncle works at has help me a lot on my other rides as far as body work, I minus well let them do the whole car this time for me.

I'm sorry, I didn't word mine correctly. I have been considering doing a carputer for a while, but I'm don't know if I want the hastle. I think that manufactured car cp is gonna be the future, but I can't afford it at all right now. Watching TV is probably not the best idea, but I bet everyone would take advantage surfing the web. I had the eclipse avn2454 and, sadly I relied on the GPS. This new system will be able to instantly update the navigation as opposed to buying new >$300 updates. You could have it set to flip through pictures while listening to HD radio, etc. I just think there are many awesome features about this system.

yea sure, dont get me wrong, its a nice unit and very factory looking and already setup. Just wanted to make sure you knew about other less expensive options. i do like the fact that it can update the GPS without update disks, that is certainly nice. but if thats what u want in ur car then go for it, ill just drool over it when you do get it
