That's frustrating! I almost got ripped on a navigation system from ebay, but I was warned just in time. How much did they get from you?

I paid $200 for some kinetix resonated test pipes.
They are pretty old, missing a flange on each pipe, have an extra bong welded on, and have a small hole drilled in one of them.
I didn't get completely ****ed.
I just never received kinetix resonated test pipes, I got something else instead.

The best part was that this guy bought them from someone else, and turned around and resold them FOR MORE MONEY.
He paid $150 for them, realized they were useless, then posted them for sell without mentioning any problems with the pipes and sold them for $200.

People have absolutely no morals these days

Yeah, exactly. I'm REALLY careful about from whom I buy things.
On ephatch, we didn't have itrader, but instead a classifieds rating system where if you had a good transaction, you post in this thread & it's updated to look like, "holy EFFING cow/ +37 shipped/ +27 paid/ + 6 delivered."

It was inefficient, but it gave you a good sense of who was trustworthy.

There were also a few rules in place to protect members from scammers, things like no one with sub-200 posts could sell-- gives people who sign in with the intent to scam a second thought of if they really want to spend a bunch of time posting just to make a few bucks.

One of the things that really pisses me off about all this is (like in this case) is when people are over charging for things. These forums can be a great tool for people who actually try to help each other out.

Yeah, absolutely.

****ing there's a thread on here where a guy's selling non-Brembo OEM brake stuff-- apparently he paid less than the price for which he is selling. On top of that, he's being a total d1ck about it. Pretty sh1tty, imo.

I'm not to sure what to say about that Trent. Try to see if he's going to zdayz, if he is you should go too and meet up with him.

Off to work I go, YAY!
