I need help. I need a hotel room in July downtown NOLA.

I know a couple people here work at a hotel downtown. I need a hotel close to Harrah's on saturday night, July 5th. If I have to get it for the 4th and the 5th (friday and saturday night), I will. It will be for Heather's 21st birthday. I want to bring her out for her birthday and I wanted to know if everyone would be interested in meeting up to celebrate her birthday with her. Please let me know if you can participate.

Right now I just need to get settle on a hotel room. I would like to have one big enough for many people to crash in if they need a place to stay after going out. I will remind everyone when it's closer to her birthday. I will make a thread about it.

Mike, this event isn't a road race. But I would suggest to get out to auto-x's regularly first than move up to a road race event. There is much to be learned before jumping on a road course, for your safety and the other drivers.

Heather is the one that wants to do it then so you'll have to talk to her about it. She told me last night that she wants to do this. I told her I would get the room lined up. She picked the dates. Her birthday is July 6 so she wants that weekend.
