Louisiana Z/Import cookout April 29th *Lakefront*
Thanks you guys.
that's what they make protective riding gear for. I haven't really hit the streets yet. I don't have insurance yet. I am going to buy a jacket and gloves friday or saturday.

Nice pick up Dustin. I talked to a friend of the lady's & he wants to get rid of his 600. He told me I'd just have to take over payments. It almost sounds too good to be true. I really want it, but I have extremely limited experience on bikes so a 600 might be too big for me. I don't want to get bored, though.
Decisions decisions.

I want to know what make, year, color, mileage, any damage, and how much for the payments right now
I'd say go for a 600 on my experience so far. The taking off from a start is not bad. I thought it would be a lot more powerful but it's not. Don't get me wrong, it has a lot of power. It just won't take off from you if you're easy with the throttle. You don't really have to use any throttle to start off. You just start giving it some throttle afterwards. My bike's redline is 15,000 rpm. I've brought up to about 10,000 very quickly through first and second. Wasn't too bad. The turning is the thing to get down to me. This is my first bike. I've never even owned a dirtbike.

I'm like you-- never've owned a dirt bike or anything. I've ridden a 500 but that was like three years ago. I might try to get it off him though.
Right now my main priority is buying your wheels if they're still up for sale.
It has your normal wear and tear from riding. By that I mean little rock chips. It's kinda dirty right now. The guy I bought it from lives an hour away and he brought it on a trailer to my house. Other than that, no damage. It's a 2005 Honda CBR600RR with intake, exhaust, and power commander. No monthly note. I paid cash for it.
