i used to have my oil changed by just an oil change place real quick. now i do it all myself, unless its something nissan has to do, i will do it. read on the forums and it was completely true, "the guys that are working at the oil change shops are teenagers who should be working at mcdonalds, and you are trusting them with your 30k car and a critical component of it" nuff said

i resent that statement.....I worked at jiffy lube for a few months but I think I'm doing alright now working for lexus
but ya your right with your statement. I don't even trust the quick lube people at dealerships much or less some of the people that work there. I got lucky and work with a great team that cares about what we do and how we do it

hey shawn those brake pads are awesome. I got like 250-300 miles on them and the squeaking is almost completely gone and they grab great. They are alot better than the ones I had before and I'd even say they feel better than the hawks I had on my mustang but then again its 2 different cars

Bald tires + damp rode = death to MR2.
And Chris, I had a feeling I shouldn't let them touch my car. When I asked one of them about by-passing the Bose unit in my car all he said was, "Yeah we can do it, we did a Z the other day actually." I told him if it didn't have the Bose unit then it's different between that one and mine and he's like nah mine it's simple....so I'll probably take it somewhere else or see if I can figure it out. Should I buy the speakers threw the store or also get them the same way as the HU?

dude you as well can come see me and I'll do it too. I got the bose and didn't bypass it. Its a high input amplifier and you can just hook it up normally like any other headunit w/o an amp and it sounds fine. They sell a module from perpherial for the amp thats like $50 regular price that I was thinking about putting in only if I got it free. But I can bypass the amp if ou wanted and you don't have to buy anything extra I got a ton of speaker wire in my box from customers that bought the amp kits and I didn't need to use the wire.
If you buy anything from there speaker-wise get it through the accomadation as well either the alpine type r i think it is with the silk tweeter or the new infiniti kappas but make sure it has the silk tweeter. the aluminums scream too loud and give me a headache even with the dif dB settings on the cross-overs.
If I change out my speakers which I prob won't I'll only roll with either the Diamond Audio Hex series components or the Elemental Design. check out this website for great prices www.woofersetc.com
