Just got finished retightening my headers (with william and STI guy)
We are getting way too good at that (good news for william's header install)
anyways it seems like it didn't solve the noise issue. It appears to be only coming from the passenger side and very easily heard inside and outside of the car. It sounded like it was coming from the headers->head seal previous, but now sounds like it has shifted back towards the headers->test pipes, test pipes->y pipe or even y pipe to mid pipe AGAIN
I'm in the process of ordering a whole set of new gaskets and changing them all out (besides headers->head)
I think this may solve my leak, if not I'm off to the exhaust shop to let them diagnose it.
I sure hope its nothing serious, this sh*t all started when i hit that metal rod in the road (posted exhaust damage previously)
anyways sorry for the rant.
I'm gonna be painting some spare 03 headlights as soon as I get my hands on em ^_^
PS can someone direct me to gasket measurements for the nismo exhaust? I can guess but would rather be right the first time
Headers->Test Pipes 2.25 ID 3 Hole
Test Pipes->Y pipe 2.5 ID 2 Hole
Y Pipe->Mid pipe 3.0 ID 2 Hole (always has carbon build up)
Mid pipe->Muffler 3.0 ID 2 Hole (probably wont change this one)
