We usually do not get near the beating the coast and NOLA gets/ got. I have never evacuated, and I'm not sure BR ever has. I know one year (70's / 80's) a hurricane came up the Mississippi and rocked BR to a degree.

We usually get power outages and wind damage and what not. Some flash flooding if you live in a flood zone (Greg is a flood zone).

if the storm comes, imma stay and work at the hospital and get paid. and when the storm leaves, gonna do a lil bit of shopping.

When katrina hit we had the military break down the doors to the walgreens and rite aids and they told us to take whatever we needed. Of course I took all the essentials!!!

I haven't decided what to do about the hurricane yet. I'm going to wait to see where it's going. Then I'll head out or just stay.

only been living here for a few months but im gonna stay put. i dont mind the power outages/wind

I stayed for Katrina, and I will stay for the next one. My house didn't flood, so I feel pretty safe.
