Since Andy @ Performance Nissan (which is the vendor that I am looking to buy a set of wheels) doesn't want to help me out, and figures I should self educate myself, I am hoping a couple of you guys can give me some insight. What is the difference is offsets between these two sizes? +17 front & +24 rear, and +12 front & +12 rear. Thanks in advance for your help.
your options
19x9.5 F +12 with a 245/35 or 255/35
19x10.5 R +12 with a 275/35 or 285/35 with rolled rear fenders.
19x9.5 F +17 with a 255/35
19x10.5 R +24 with a 285/35 or better with rolled rear fenders.
Myself, I would go with +12

Out of 16? I thought it was just me, you, your co-driver, bradely, and the STI in BSP.....anyhow I came in last lol....I ran all my runs on the first course...dunno if the change in course would have helped much....but I only got to run it once. I had fun though and felt a lot more comfortable with the car than I was at the other event....I was slidin all over the place though....needa do something about that!

tires man, tires. and a diff, i noticed right away when u were in front of me that u were a base. i heard u revvin up and i was tellin my co driver not to do that cause u will only spin one wheel and its not worth it. those are my two things i need on top of all the alignment parts. told ya the coilovers help right? hehe. oh and the rankings are not from that event only, they are overall in previous events. thats why i was kinda surprised.

Well, I have the 245/35 & 275/35 tires already, so that is the sizing I will use. And the +12 seems like the most recommended, so I will probably take that route. Thanks for the help.

What are your power goals in the end? You will want a wider tire if you are going for 500.

I throught you'd never ask.
you see its like this:
1 - get a thought, any thought you'd like, then suspend it in the air
2 - get a running start and dive through the thought.
3 - ????
4 - profit

500 on the dyno you are using is a lot of power. 285 would be the minimum I would run with that power with 295+ the desired width (you are gonna spin just about any tire through at least 2nd except maybe an 888). You will not want to run a high camber if you can help it (less tire getting a good grab...I've tested this personally). Make sure you run that by the person selling you the rim so they will warranty anything that doesn't fit.
