whenever my car is cold, my battery goes down to about 8 volts at idle and my dash lights blink. Once the car is warmed up I don't have the problem. Battery is relatively new, but might be under powered for my audio setup, and my crank pulley is underdriven. I know it was a pretty stupid move, but wondering what it will take to fix it.

My belts make a lot of noise at idle and I think I can hear something rattling only when the AC is on.

Damn my car is falling apart =/

make sure your belts and battery connections aren't loose first off. any check engine lights?

nope but the other day my amp wouldn't turn on and every once in a while my radio turns itself off.
Maybe a short.
I'm gonna try pulling the amp power off my battery and see if it helps.

Ok guys, well I need to get back into school. I’m looking for anything that is offered online, as I can’t afford less work hours. Anything that’ll help me get into an industry around here, something that could be used for more than one particular career.

Ideas? I currently have a Bach. in Business. BUT can’t get a loan to start my own idea.

Any ideas? You could probably get an accounting degree pretty easy since you already have the bus degree. Jobs everywhere for cpa's. MBA?

Your amp is starving for power, that is the reason it is shutting off, and coming on every now and then. Probably at higher volumes. Check for corrosion around the terminals, and if there is none, you need to upgrade the battery, and probably a bigger ground on the battery also.
