If he has a true interest, I have a direct hook up with the GM at Best Chevy, just figured I throw that out there. But the Z-06 is still a great car as well.
shawn, didnt u say u also have hook ups at audi as well....i went over there yesterday but really couldn't get much from them...can u pm me more details...
damn i dont know what to do, someone give me some opinions. i always wanted these wheels but they never made them in 20's so i didnt get them. someone right now is actually offering me exactly what i payed for my VS-XX and can pick up the rims so i wont have to ship them. the guy that wants the rims told me Work is not making the VS-XX in burning black no more so it makes me think that the rims are going to become more rarer as the years pass which makes it harder to let go.....
these wheels are the SEX!
I would keep the VS's..at least for a while. They stopped making LE37's last year. I just sold my set for more than I paid for them, and I had 4 offers to choose from. In the end someone drove TO Baton Rouge to pick them up from Houston.
As the companies that import wheels / turbo kits / etc raise the prices on their items, you can almost always expect to sell for close to if not for more than you paid.
Volk TE37's were 2400 in May 2007, now they are 3100. (Just an example.)

i think he has ruled out the GT-R, says its too untested for the money right now. id like to see him get the Z06 but its a matter of reliablilty for that car. we are going to look at some M3s tomm,
Sad part is... the many tranny problem the GT-R has was resulted of the same thread being posted a million times everywhere. I think Matt and Marty were both saying they've heard of three reported transmission failures. I'm sure there are more but I swear if someone started a thread to that same link, people will think it's another blown tranny
your 100% right greg, but he is just unsure of this first year run. you remember the first year run of the Zs, and all the problems they had. 2 yrs later fixed.
yea I would hope next year GTR would have a beefier transmission.
I think a lot of owners are taking it very easy on the tranny because of the reports.
That's probably why you dont see more coming in.

That I can understand. I had my few known 2003 issues already and are fixed but I wouldn't want any typical problem with the money spent for a GT-R.
On that note... I'm hoping NNA brings a 370Z to Zdayz

I dunno, there are plenty of vids of 1/4 runs from the GT-R if it was that much of a problem. Although I'd be scared too
But I mean... if you're using the car for what its meant for, it shouldn't be much of an issue
Oh yeah... the Spec-V is still coming although it's stupid fuggin expensive
is it? i heard from a nissan rep that it may not be available in the states. if it is its gonna be low numbers and yes stupid expensive. although there is that LM version with like 500+ ponies comin

Japan in January, possibly as early as November in the states.
Chit better be fast as hell considering the price and performance of a ZR-1 and ACR.

im still on the fence with that new 370Z, im not gonna jump on it and buy it as soon as it comes out but i do really like the interior, the outside has grown on me more. still not convinced though. im sure when someone buys one, drops it and throws some volks on it, it will look hawt.

I hear ya man. If I really liked it, I'd probably wait a few years to get it because I don't want to get rid of the Z. The interior is really nice and the exterior I'd have to see in person first. I didn't care for the new Maximas at first until I saw it in person. Hell, the tail lights on the Maxima look so baller at night
