Alright I finally got my car over to Forged and spent the last 17 hours making my way back to Germany. I hate airports by the way... I can't wait to see how this TT setup works out though.
They were telling me two guys from Baton Rouge were there like 2 weeks ago getting some electrical work done. Anyone in here?

The stars aligned and Jason was my savior Saturday. Talk about one of the PITA installs ever due to unexpected complications.
I absolutely love the coilovers so far though. The car is slightly higher than before, not much though. I have the rears as low as it will go and tried to get the fronts even.

Any 03-05 guys interested in a set of 07 projectors?
A buddy sourced a set for me & *may* have an extra set. Right now he has two extra rights, but needs the lefts. I told him that if he finds it, someone here would probably be interested.
Mine are coming with all the accouterments, so I assume the second set would as well.
Let me know. I don't have a price, yet, but I imagine (assuming it all even happens) it'll be a lot cheaper than what the normal going rate is.
lol. It's a sweet car.

Greg and his roomate did mine while I watched. It was simple with a dremel and the correct bit. I think it took us about 40 minutes for both sides.

Hmm...I think there is a write up on how to do it on here too....gotta get those on...think I have a whole degree of toe on one of my backs lol then 4 degrees of camber on one of them hah....craziness. I got the actual specs that rob printed up for me, but my ish was messed up. He got the fronts all good except camber naturally, but the rears got crazy camber and toe.

so here is a funny dillema:
My dad wants a new car, tired of the Z06 and worried about the issues that are coming up more frequently with this corvette. its been a headache to say the least. so i had suggest about 3 or 4 cars for him to look at. He originally like the new Z06. bang for the buck wise you cant beat it. the new M3, a mercedes and of course the GT-R. anyway wanted to see what yall think. pretty much theses are the pros and cons of the main cars he is lookin at
GT-R:
Pros: Its a GT-R, AWD, TT, the interior is definately $80k quality, better reliability, Leasing available, Best handling car for the money hands down, retain its value. Did i mention its a GT-R?
Cons: Tranny issues (seems to me that its the idots using LC like 16times, and over at NAGTROC they seem to have figured out its the shitty tranny fluid that seems to be mostly at fault), maintenance is more than pretty high(6k brake jobs, 1k tranny fluid), kind of worried about him parking this car out front his office on the ****( he gets enough people coming inside talking to him about his vette, not to mention that has been stolen once already).
Z06:
Pros: Fast, Cheap(compared to the others), maintenance costs are lower, chevy wont void your warranty for tracking the car with other cars, you blow an engine or tranny chevy honors the warranty, less of crowd gatherer than the GT-R, upgrade in HP over his current Vette.
Cons: GM may be bankrupt next year, they wont lease them, vettes are rather notorious for issues popping up( my dad has already had his fair share), the interior looks more suited on a car that costs 30k less, not the most reliable car( consumer reports gave it a much less than reliable), the resale value absolutely tanks on these cars.
M3:
Pros: Bimmer quality, service and reliability. still 420hp V8 that revs to over 8k rpm, nice interior and creature comforts, leasing available, 4yrs/40,000 miles $0 maintenance, not quite as "look at me" as jeremy clarkson would say, as the latter.
Cons: not quite as exciting as the Z06 or the GT-R, less HP than both.
hasnt really looked at any particular mercs. obviously id like to see him get a GT-R, but the tranny issue would need to be resolved and he would need to know more on the annual maintenance costs, only drives like 8k miles a year and works like 5mi from home.
what yall think?

I know it's a concept, but I think it will be a production vehicle pretty soon.
