ok so i went out and tried this again at 1:30 this morning. . .i found a 'Night' button within. . .came out a little better but only really lets me adjust the contrast manually. . .there wasn't really as much light as it seems, the camera made it look that way. . .

How do you like the Invos so far?
Yeah, it's a really best to have a manual mode for it to get it right because you have to play with it otherwise you can end up with too much light.

Keep your iso at 400 or lower, then adjust your aperture to where you get the depth of field where you want it. Then adjust the shutter accordingly

so i can relplace them with invos as well. . .when i hit a bump or go over grated highway i can tell the difference when the invos go over them and when my back tires roll over them. . .
