My bad for the late call... Seems like you must have had an extreme night already. Lol, I was just freaking out because it almost feels like a boost leak too.. Sucks ball. I bottomed out my car a few times coming home from metairie. I hate the construction by causeway.

 

So I checked out all my pipes and they seem fine. I failed to look at my bpv though. That might be loose or something. Think i might be over spinning my blower?

 

did you get some time to check it out yet? I'd do an ECU reset first.

My car was acting weird on the way up to corr 2 weeks ago.
When trying to turn on my cruise control it would just blink at me
after i turned off the car the blinking went away and now works fine.

 

nah, do u have a boost gauge?
it definitely sounds like its not a boost problem from the way you are talking.
the only symptoms are the speed restriction? did I misunderstand what u wrote?

 

That was my only symptom. I have a boost gauge in possession but not installed. Looking to get the 2 pod pillar. I'll do the ecu reset right now.

 

tony, have you tested it again? like seen how fast you can go? maybe since you let the car cool down, you could check it again? see if it's still experiencing the same problems?

I never brought it up to those speeds again. I'll do it later tonight. I'm leaving my cars battery off though and gonna let it sit. Then log onto my utec and see what settings I have. I believe I still have my car set to 7100rpm. I need to change that asap. Even though I never take it that far. Btw Trent, what is your utec crossover set at? around 2500 is when mine kicks in.

 

You guys are scaring me from boost.
