clutch slipping will have the RPM go up without an increase in speed....

Well I was thinking that because my speed doesnt go up but then again I dont recall my rpms going up either.

other problems could be bad gas, throttle position errors or carbon build up, u were runnin rich as a mother before hand.

Thanks man I appreciate it. Pretty much done just my paint is so bad almost everywhere Id really like to get it fully repainted and everything shaved but I dont have that kinda money right now. Besides that all I want is some 06+ headlights and black them out.

Tony was it like when you put it in a certain gear you were mashing the gas and the RPMs nor your speed was accelerating?

I have some saving up to do... the estimate to fix the Z was over 1k higher than expected
Front and rear bumper ordered... hopefully I'll save some money from driving my beater

like he had a speed limiter put on his car. no rpm rise and no speed increase
