well i got my car back a lil while ago and im happy about that but ray brandt decided to leave me a present on my driver side skirt in the back. . .now i tell myself to go over there and raise hell but the other side of me says that it's just a waste of time and they will deny it like they did for a ding in my door last time and i'm thinking this time they will say that it could have happened because the car was low when i was driving and didn't notice it. . .yeah uh huh. . .i walked around my car before i handed my keys to the service guy and nothing was wrong other than what was already there. . .i tell ya man, i'm so sick of the way people are now a days with not caring about other peoples property and just not caring in general. . .that's why i want to get away from this area and move to Covington so bad. . .the attitudes of people are 100% different out there and for the better. . .what gets me the most is that the tech or porter that did it can't even own up to it. . .it's not like they are gonna lose their job. . .i would feel so much better if they were to come to me when giving my car back and say that someone made a mistake and they will have it fixed for me. . .i feel like my car was hit in a parking lot and i come out of the store to find it that way, with no one to blame as the story usually goes. . .i told myself last time that i wasn't going to go back there but i guess i lied to myself. . .if i can help it next time. . .i won't be going back. . .ok, i'm done. . .

Damn that sucks, and that is exactly why we use damage check in sheets on every vehicle that we work on. It is a requirement for the installer to do a full walk around, with the damage report on every vehicle, before we pull it in the back. Sorry Damian.

 

i'll get over it. . .the only people that i've seen do the walk around check-in was Ford and car rental places. . .like you said, there is a reason for doing it and if you want to give your customers a piece of mind it's good to have that kind of thing available. . .it's just letting your customers know that you care and you will take all the care in the world of your property and return it the way it was before. . .and also so you don't have to pay out your *** for unsuspecting damage that you didn't know about that was already there. . .

on a better note, i'm going to the Nickelback concert. . .my sister just offered me a ticket from someone that didn't want to go. . .so this should make for an interesting night. . .
