I'm really looking for some better wheels than I had before. I want to buy Joshs GTSs but he won't be back in town till thursday. Hopefully I'll have something by then.

not going to lie this noise is getting annoying. its hard to explain how it sounds but its only at start up then it goes away. but it sounds like vibration but a little louder then an exhaust vibration and you can hear it more when you clutch in or brake.

I figured I'd ask you guys since your the experts, will a 245/40 be too much of a stretch on a 10.5" rim?

I'd say yes. Remember that 245 is what comes on the stock 8" wheel.

For some people it would be too much but I think it would be fine.

Here's a 235/40/18 on an 18x10

Let me find a 245/40 on a 10.5

245/40 on a 10.5

Stretch will depend on the tire also. For example Federals don't stretch much at all unless you put a 225 or 215 on a 10.

Thanks a lot man, I don't know why but I always seem to choose the same wheels you have. I got Cr Kai's after I saw them on your car, and lately I have been wanting the rpf1s. The reason I was asking about the tires is cause I have two 245/40 and two 275/40 Nitto 555s in my garage from my old wheels and I'm going to use them for the Enkeis. It looks like everyone is sold out of the 9.5+15 so I'm just going to get the 10.5+15 all around.
