the story goes like this:
andy and i agreed on a price and i took a loan on it....he wrote the bill of sale and the loan went through...for some stupid reason the checks(one to andy and the other one to nissan)wasn't sent at the same time...nissan got the check first and sent the title to my bank...during this whole time, andy didnt know what was goin on so he took payment with somebody else...legally he couldn't do that because of the bill of sale....so now i'm in the process of selling the car back to him at an undisclosed price....the car is registered in my name at the moment but i will never take procession of the car
After reading this, seems to me that the car legally belongs to you. Car has been paid for and is registered in your name. You are rightful owner at this time. I would demand possesion of the car. You could possibly get screwed big time on this deal. What if the car gets vandalized or stolen? What happens if someone steals some things from the car? You are in ownership and do not have it insured. What if the car gets stripped and returned to stock?

It is in the possession of another person that Andy sold it to, with a second bill of sale. Worst that happens, is Andy could go to jail, no liabilities on Soleil.
