Louisiana Z/Import cookout April 29th *Lakefront*
Shawn,
http://clubregistration.net/ is the site I use. Go ahead and register and set your car up. They don't have them up until the month usually. edit: actually it is up Shawn, but I'd wait until a few days before to verify the weather.
Yeah the last session it ran at the top of the gauge, but not in the gap between the sweep and the H. I ran it in 4th on a lot of the laps (in that video) on the tight stuff and it helped a lot. I i drove it hard at all it would heat up a lot. I refrained from revving over 5300-5500.
Good news is the clutch never went so Greg and I were able to get that fixed. I have no idea how to address the cooling.

Yeah I may have to do an oil cooler. I don't know why, but I never wanted to do one. I didn't think they cooled "THAT" much. I saw where Bradley mentioned the plastic around the wipers helping. I may yank that out. I am hoping it isn't an issue again until next June.
Yeah, the weather has been stupid hot, lately.

Don't forget that you have oil running through the center sections of those turbos. They lubricate and carry away heat from the bearings. I see an oil cooler as a requirement when road racing almost anything.
Not the same car but it should give you an idea.
On my car at NPR
No Oil Cooler = all out for 4 laps at the most with the heater on before needing a cool down lap
With 202ci FC Oil Cooler = As many laps as I can get in in a 20 minute session. No cool down lap necessary.
Adding the oil cooler was the only thing that changed.
