*EDIT: didn't see the confirmation on the 1.5" drop in your message... do they make different springs? I googled them and it came back with 1.3/1.0
Nah it really is a 1.5 inch drop. I bought the springs from www.hopupracing.com and i also checked www.intensepower.com where I almost bought them from, both said the same thing.

Oh and Fingers, I'll check that out but I have an 03. My friend told me he put my old 03 springs on his 06 and it raised his rear (he only put the rear on and got mad when it was raised). Think that might work for his car? Plus I have a feeling he put them on wrong because I'm not sure if he knew what he was doing, LOL.

So are we running tonight? I may go see Fantastic 4 tonight and was going to see if anyone else may want to join or maybe run before or after.

That is not a problem, all you have to do is get Shop B to erase all the maps and start from scratch. One can always do a hard erase and start the UTEC like if it was day 1. That way one can have another shop/person tune it.

I had a guy completely mess with the tune right after their car was tuned to a certain PSI. Well he turned the boost up and starting fooling with the maps on this Hondata S300, boom the engines go. He never came back at us for that, but what if...

Well all he could have done is go back to my original tune and say that my tune blew his motor up even though he changed it on his own and that resulted. Unfortunately that system does not let u lock it, so then it be his word against my tune would it, then what?

What part of Destrehan are you in. I'm living in St.Rose for the rest of the month. The rear spring perch mod should work on his car because all 06 spring perches are supposed to have the extra matierial on the perch. I don't know about any other model years but if yours looked like the 06s in that diy thread then it should work.

I live three streets over from Destrehan High School. Where at in St. Rose are you staying? I'm going to be leaving shortly to head out to the Elmwood palace and then maybe to Metairie to look for other Z's.

Btw does anyone know who owns the DP 06+ Z that has the Nismo wing, N-Spec front bumper with I think it was the Nismo sides and rear with exhaust and mesh looking rims? Saw him on Veterans on the way home, looked clean. Oh well.

Well folks, the carbonetics lsd is in, and I must say, traction is definitely improved. I can feel the difference coming around the corners, off the line, and just normal driving. It actually steers different. After doing some figure 8's to break it in a little, Sprintertech and I went to river road. Definitely comes out the hole better :] The only thing is, is that I have no clue how to drive this thing now. Going to take some getting used too, and probably several passes(will have to go to a test n tune) to get it dialed in. Also, I do not like that sideways ****. Came to stop sign, decided to see how it would whip around.....bad idea. The rear end came around so fast. **** drifting!!!!

Hey I'm probably heading the the boat launch tonight, was wondering if anyone else will be there. Also in Laplace tonight there are suppose to be the usual races, so I was wondering if any other Z driver's wanted to tag along with me to shut some cocky kids up and have a good time. Well hit me up on here or on AIM.
