thizzle mah nizzle.. there are oodles of threads here based on that SSV intake.. it's been proven with dyno charts to be a shiney bling mod only.. past that, it's crap..

Where did you hear that from?

If you search SSV, you'll see that there have been about 17 for sell in 2007 so far.

so whats the best setup for the rev up? just a mrev2 with spacer?

Correct. The SSV is a pretty piece but thats about it.

if i jus pulled a lower plenum out of an 03 04 junked z, would that work too?

They aren't the same thing. The MREV2 is a modified nonrevup lower plenum.

so the regular mrev is just a lower collector from the 03 04?

Nah, they were all machined. MREV2 is just the final version of them all.

I think its worse on NA and that it doesn't do much on FI.

I have NGK Iridiums in now. I'm about to switch to NGK V-Power one step colder plugs to prepare for nitrous.

it should..if not just add washer to the strut bar and u should be fine
