wet traction drifting is a good place to start so you get the feel of the car being sideways and you learn to be smooth with your steering input. You dont need to jump into high HP to drift, especially in a Z. You will probably wantto do Coils and LSD to start... both will greatly change the charicter of the car!!

That is relative to the ingagement of the LSD...
1.5 is very user friendly for starters and alows for more turning radius before lock-up... 2 way is stiffer and will lock in simple turns... this is prefered by most track/ drift ****** for that reason alone!

maintinence you will not need to worry so mush with if you only doing weekend warrior. You are suppost to change the LSD oil every 3 months, just like engine oil. You will probably destroy the car before needing to change the plates. Newer LSDs are lasting alot longer now days... Cusco stated they never serviced their RS LSD for a full Gymkana season and they came in first!!

Funny that people that dont have money to waste want to drift... Drifting cost money... even starting out your going to go through tires and potential damage issues!

LSD is a must have... Coilovers are not critical, yo can get away with stock set-up or springs... Track Rims and tire are recomended so you dont kill your daily!

you want to drift... go buy a S13 for $500... put the cheepest crap set-up you can on it...then every weekend try your best to destroy it while going sideways!! You will enjoy it more and you won't stress about damaging it!! Like you would with the Z!!

Put the S13 as your primary, and the Z as secondary... Insurance will probably stay the same, or even be lower!!

But anyway... that is the best advice if your worried about killing the Z!

Who All is going to teh EVO Center tomorrow??? I'm riding out with ***** D around 7ish!!

Drew, I'm going. I think Will was coming to my house to drop off his wheels and tires so Rob can bring them. My dad's bringing his 38 foot motor home out there.

The Nismo is a good one because it comes with everything you need. If you want something a little quieter get the Cusco RS and if you're baller get the carbonetics.

You can weld it if you want. I have plenty friends that have welded diffs, just make sure you get someone that knows what they are doing.

does adding one or welding it ruin the warranty?
