I think the one that stays in on the bottom side actually.
BTW, remove your O2 sensors before loosening everything else!

I went to Sears Hardware last night for some tools. I bought a 190pc rachet, socket, and wrench set. I also picked up an oxygen sensor socket, 2ft. of extensions, 4 - 2-1/4 ton jack stands, and a 2-1/2 ton low clearance jack. Now all I need is good weather tomorrow.

you have a 1' ext in your ratchet set already i assume? hmm... not sure if 2' is gonna cut it if not.. but you'll figure it out..
if i was in Houma, i would give you a hand... here at my house, i have to work on my car in the driveway which is asphalt, and when its nice and hot out, that schit gets "soft"... jackstands and soft asphalt don't mix..

Now, if this permanent bolt is free spinning and not in fact truely permanent, then it doesn't really matter. I don't think that is the case because a permanent bolt can not be free spinning without some type of bearing system or sleave and groove. I don't think Nissan went that into detail with the cat bolts. With that being said, I basically don't want to be trying to break a bolt loose and it will not come loose because it is "permanent." Now do you understand?

aight Dustin.. Greg will chime in with the finale.. You need to take the airbox assembly off the car first.. from filter box all the way back to the Z-tube... this allows you room to get to that one bolt (Greg will letcha know which one)from up top. As far as the passenger side, i don't recall if we had to take anything off..
Here is a pic.. Bolt A (tha stud) is the bolt that is part of the manifold.. Greg?
