LOL I can see it coming now.

Who's that in the third picture you put on there? I see Ryan and Bradley but I don't know that third one...funny as hell though.

Hey curious, does anyone think it's worth trading in my 03 Touring Z for a 07 Track Z?

I've been seriously debating because honestly I love my car to death but I've never been happy about the purchase, and since I bought it there is still chit that keeps fuqing up, mainly the radio and all the wiring for it. Plus the engine doesn't seem to be as strong as some of the others I've driven (I've driven all the different years) including the same year vehicles.

I did buy it used, and I think that was probably my biggest problem because I was so excited about getting it I rushed into a sale that looks like I shouldn't have. If I happen to get rid of it, I WILL get another Z, just debating if I should look into trading it in for an 07.

Everyones .02 cents is welcome

Run it at the track to determine how your car is running. It could all be in your head as far as driving someone else's car.

Do you have the Bose HU?

Well last time I ran it at the track (without the plenum spacer) I just barely hit 13.9. I try to keep an open mind about my car and the way it runs compared to others, but something doesn't seem right.

Yes I do have the Bose HU but that's the main thing that's fuqed up because the guy who used to own the car didn't use it, cut the wiring harness all up, and the cd player doesn't exactly play cd's, it always cuts/shorts out. Plus the stock BOSE speakers aren't in the car (the guy replaced them with cheap *** sony explodes which are currently fuqed. Front's don't work and tweeters are gone and sub is blown). This is why I was asking people a while back if they had stock HU/speakers that I could purchase to put back in my car.

And Bradley I was actually counting on getting the car at cost (Ray Brandt owns a Nissan dealer) and I was thinking of getting 2 students loans, one to put the most possible down which if the estimate is accurate will put me at about 250 a month versus the 480 I pay now, though the 250 is like a 72 month term, which sucks.

+2 on what they said.

higher car payment FTL!!!!
Bose HU FTL!!!!

You need to run your Z next to another Z to see how it performs. It will also show driver error but who knows. I can't launch worth a shiet at the dragstrip.

I would love to get a system that wasn't BOSE but still nice. I would actually rather it if they're better, I just figured it'd be cheaper for me to do it that way for now till I can get a better setup.

Do you have any spare/old equipment you'd like to sell for some spare cash?

13.9 is not bad honestly... We were all running 14.x last time we went although we haven't gone in cool weather either.

Hmm, I'll sell my Bose HU with the PAC adapter if you want man. I just need to get an HU first.

With the PAC, you can run external amps since the guy cut the harnesses.

Well problem is I have my current loan out for my car now, I have to get a student loan for school, and if I got a third loan it would hopefully be another student loan and I was either going to use that to put a down payment for a new car, or pay this one off....

and +1 on the 13.9. I can't even get a 14.4. We were racing in some pretty hot and humid nights though.

You need to figure how much you owe compared to how much your trade-in will be too.
