edit: Just saw you were going single turbo. Either way, labor isn't cheap.
i dont think ill be able to get twins. the price for twins is too high and i wont be able to really use them because i wont have money for a built block for a while. so i was considering either st or sc. it seemed like an sc worked really well for u. im in college and can only work a part time job right. how much did u end up paying after u got it installed and tuned?

Around 10k. I also had to get supporting mods, accessories, and a new clutch and flywheel, and tires also. People get stuff for different prices too. I done all the installs myself with the aid of my cousin(mechanic) If you have the money now, then PM me. I will have a chat with you and point you in the right direction.

Cool man. I have a single turbo Z at my house right now. It's built motor, but the car is running horrible. We diagnosing it, changing out a few things, and also putting in a new clutch/flywheel. Anyway, let me know when you get closer and I'll square you away.

to do any fi the right way you should look to spend somewhere between 15000 and 20000 and that should put you at about 500 rwhp. i have priced it out a few times with drew from raretrick and even with a hook up i cant get it for less than like 16000

thizzle.. how about gauges and wideband? thats 400$ right there used and not to mention installation of these items. Also utec is 700 but you need map selector which is another 80-100$ and when you put that oil pan on.. you're not gonna believe this, but you'll have to put more oil into it! lol... i'm just saying.. i'd wait and save a little more man.

who said 500 rwhp would be cheap and 500rwp is alot more than you think it is. so yea for 50000 you can have a new z and 500whp. name another car that you can do that with and still look as good as the z.

i am saying with the price of the car brand new about 30000 and everything you should need to make 500 rwhp and be reliable thats about 20000, and no the viper doesnt have that much rwhp and yea it is used and alot more money to keep maintained and gets like 5MPG.

i dont think a 500whp z is gonna get that great of milage either cuz i get about 20 right now with only like 243 whp. but i bet the vipers faster lol . its got like a buncha torque.

it really depends.. of course you'll be using larger fuel injectors, but if you stay out of boost, you can cruise at -20 Vacuum.
