Id rather not risk cracking my pipes.
If i can get away with stock y-pipe or cheap alternative for the time being, Id rather that.

Since I'm not doing the install myself, can I just have him install the O2 sensors and worry about this later?

Look at the link that Dustin posted for you. Thats all you have to do nothix, your car won't throw a cell as long as you use the non foulers to connect your o2 sensors to your test pipes, no need to spent $100+ on any o2 simulator, atleast give it a try.

Actually, I don't even think any of the 03-05 Zs even need the non-foulers. I think all of the 03-05 guys are just using the o2 sensor right into the test pipes/cats.

Yes you can do it later but it would only take 15 minutes to get it done now. You could also bring him the parts and see if he can drill them out and install all in one shot.

the 06 is the Z with the o2 problems. I don't think 03-05 Zs have the problem. I think it was just the 06.

I don't see why the stock y-pipe wouldn't work. I haven't got a clue what it would sound like though.

Do you have all stock now?
Did you already purchase the nismo?
I think the ypipe you posted the link for looked good, if you aren't sure about fitment just call the people selling it but I think it will work.

I have the non-foulers on my car. I was lucky though. I didn't have to drill them myself. My GF's brother is a machinist. I brought them over to his shop and he turned them for me. It took about 4 min. total. I was like " thats it".

You won't need nonfoulers on an '03. Listen to everyone here. WORSE case scenario, you throw a CEL and then you go get some. The install of nonfoulers takes 10 minutes tops (5 minutes for jacking your car up and 5 for un screwing and rescrewing the o2 sensors in.

I ran my car with a damaged O2 sensor for half a year... I've ran my car with working O2 sensors for nearly a year without nonfoulers.

OK got the sensor thing settled.

Now I'm torn between a few options for the Y-Pipe
1 - leave stock y-pipe until i fix nismo/buy a new one
2 - put nismo as it is and deal with leak/straight pipe until I new a new ypipe
3 - order another y-pipe and wait for it to come in
4 - fix the y-pipe with replacing straight pipe with flex pipe
5 - fix y-pipe with replacing broken flex with flex
6 - replacing straight and broken flex with 2 new flex pipes.

WHEW!
