El Verdugo, if you had been asked to install and tune this motor to 500-600 hp, please tell me you wouldn't do so knowing it would not last. I feel you are obligated to tell your customer if their expectations and wishes are too high for their cars reliability. To say you would just not say a word and wait for it to blow sounds pretty shady to me.

any vq engine builder would have known about the engine.... RA knew that were sending the engine elsewhere to get it tuned...just say if was the tuner and had x amount of yrs with the VQ i would have known about these "missing" parts...yes, i would call the customer and then call RA..but no i wouldnt post it on here until the engine blows..sharif is worried that the engine would last on his tune and all the ppl that bought "built" engines from him would be ****

I think the biggest problem to me about this RA build is the fact that they knew what the goal of the customer was and they half-assed the job. RA told them that the heads were ported and polished. Which they weren't. They used a oem head gasket, oem main bolts, and oem head bolts knowing that he wanted high 500s - low 600s. WHY???

The last thing I want is a blown engine on the dyno, whether is us or the customer tuning it.

My answer as well as my brother is...they are good ppl, I never had an issue with them. I rather focus on making my business better not throwing mud around.
The results will speak for themselves at the end whether they are + or -
