Soleil thanks for the recommendations, I'll have to look into those.

I'm actually chinese and my gf is korean, but we're always down for some good pho! Actually we'll only be in town for 3 days so we'll try to hit up all the local food first.

Thanks again guys, I'll let you know where we decide to go!

Oh and anybody got any parts fs I can pick up locally?
no problem man...i worked over 10 yrs in the service industry and eat out all the time...if yall wanna hangout/party just post in here or pm me and i'll get the nolazcc to party with u guys....i promise it wont be a dull night....

the stock suspension on the 04.5 ups really arent terrible but for drifting and anything competitive in road racing and auto-x, its not the greatest. C- for nissan, lol

Hey guys, we're coming down the 30th-2nd.

Depending on our plans, a lunch Z meet at this Pho Bang place wouldn't be a bad idea!

I'll have to let you guys know! Except I won't have my Z obviously. Ok gonna continue looking at restaurants

Oh and what about New Years? Anywhere else cool to partay besides bourbon street?

just an update, made reservations at palace cafe for NYE dinner.

Then I think my friend wants to hangout at Whiskey BLue Lounge Club for new years and then going to le phare?

I dunno, I wanted to check out bourbon street and frenchmen st like you guys said to see the hype.

Thanks for all the advice!

If your driving to the palace cafe, then my hotel's garage is the place to park because we have validated parking for them. The biggest Marriott downtown right next to the restaurant. Its valet parking and ask for me.

Yea....I'll probably be taking a taxi lol. Either that or walk it if it's within walking distance. I'm staying at the W Hotel in downtown. But maybe I'll walk over to check out ur car if it's gonna be there that night

Yeah thats def in walking distance. Wait, there are TWO W hotels. One on Chartres St (4 blocks away) and the other one Tchoupitoulas St (7 blocks away.) I'm actually trying to request off for the 31st and New Years day.

if you are looking for French cuisine you may want to look at Dominique's...Soleil posted a number of great spots, but just to add a few try Muriel's, Irene's, the Rib Room, Galatoire's, Antoinne's, even NOLA's can be spot on some nights...the french quarter has more restaurants than you can shake a stick at
