Default New years Eve Question for you NOLA ppls

Hey guys,

My gf and I are going to New Orleans for New years, and I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for a nice fancy new years eve dinner?

Not sure on the cuisine yet, just looking for recommendations right now.

Thanks!

edit: right now we're looking to eat at Herbsaint? Any comments?

+1 commanders palace.

There are a lot of places. If you want to read about some restaurants go to NOLA under the restaurant tab.

If you do go to the Palace Cafe, Im the Valet Manager at the Marriott's Garage right next to the building. And that is where people are supposed to park when they go to the Palace Cafe. Great place for lunch.

Wow awesome replies guys.

As for as fancy, I'm looking for something elegant. I mean, it is New Years, so obviously we won't be going to the red lobster or whatever. Probably some french cuisine. But somewhere where wearing a dress shirt and dark jeans wouldn't feel weird.

Soleil thanks for the recommendations, I'll have to look into those.

I'm actually chinese and my gf is korean, but we're always down for some good pho! Actually we'll only be in town for 3 days so we'll try to hit up all the local food first.

Thanks again guys, I'll let you know where we decide to go!

Oh and anybody got any parts fs I can pick up locally?
