VERY cool,
the car show was cool too...A WHOLE HELL of a lot different than Louisiana car scene.
Fri, we pull up to the ALoft hotel and the event organizer Ben, greeted us and as beat up as my car is, he complemented it and asked for us to park right in front the hotel; when they had other cars their with wheels costing more than my car maybe dbo's too...SotU had set something up with the hotel for us to park in front, which as strangers, i thought was pretty cool
Sat- the carshow was cool too, cars focused on looks and wheel fitment,
i was drinking mid day, gettin tipsy...
Sat night, we meet up with the houston guyz and stay at a hotel in weatherford, 30mins from MW; got more trashed
sunday LSB, was insane, got there late and quickly noticed about 20-30 cars on course, all nice, painted, cool wheels, suspension, a lot more turbo/v8/jz cars than stock motor cars... the course was fast, 4th gear... 90-100mph entry, VERY FUN! I had trouble at first adapting to the heavier/boat feeling z, also, the gearing/n/a powerband is different than my 240, but i got the hang of it, and people said i was looking good... Aaron(drift event coordinator) is an awesome dude; whats fun about his events is that everyone goes at their own pace. No pressure at all, u line up your car, and everyone go one at a time, or 5 or 10 cars at a time tandeming....its all on you and your pace/confidence. All of this is accomplished with little or NO course workers at all.
Truly a great event, i'll come back for another one...and everyone should go to one of the MW drift events.

That white 350z with slammed on the black wheels is so hot.

can you roll the front fenders or just the back ones? if so, who can i get to roll mine for me
it is barely rubbing but i'd still like to get it done....
also, the tien flex sound like crap in the back. both of them rattle like crazy. all the nuts and bolts are tight, it has to be something inside of them which is echoing into my car....

paint that **** bright orange, maybe your family members will stop backing into it. or ziptie some matresses on it or something. I'd be furious

My Monoflex rattled pretty badly in the rear too. I removed the rear struts from the perches & made sure everything was as tight as it could be & it seems to have helped some. I also popped off the EDFC mounts to make sure everything was tight under there.
