has anyone ever solved this locally?

you can by 02 bypasses but you drive an 07 as a daily driver so i wouldn't reccommend it. find a shop to weld your test pipes and screw the 02 sensor back in. shouldn't cost more than 100 bucks.

I'm thinking you have an 06 ECU.
I say this because that car is a hybrid of 03 and 06 parts, and the 06 ECUs tend to have more issues.
It's just a guess though

Ian always had that problem.
Dunno how to fix it, there is some better non-fouler info out there.
But people dont have consistent results

I'm pretty sure the Z has 4 o2 sensors. did you change all of them at the same time? are you running test pipes? maybe it's the wiring, i don't know. sounds like you tried everything i would have done...

yes, it has 4, the codes that are thrown are specifically for the rear o2 sensors(test pipes). Yes i have strup tp's, but I read that the 03-04 z's o2 sensors are more friendly with aftermarket tp's. Also, i tried both adding and taking away the foulers, and none of that works.

03-05 were alot easier cause 06+ are wideband sensors. On my 06 i made a set of non-fouler plugs and never had probs after that. Not sure about what ecu etc u have. That car was a hybrid of parts like nothix said.

What code is it?

I had a code because of my O2 sensor (I think PO157 or something like that) and I went ahead and replaced both of them to get rid of it. Tried nonfoulers, etc... nothing worked until they were replaced.

Hmm, if it does have the 06 ECU, I'd imagine you'd need the 04.5+ O2 sensors since they're all wideband

I figure if it does have an 06 ecu, i don't think it'll throw the P0037/P0057 codes as those codes are for the 03-05 350zs. I was researching and the 06's would throw the P0157 like yours did...

if it was a helicopter i could fix it.... i learn something new about cars every day.

we fixed it by replacing the TP sensor. my in-law works at capital buick/gmc and he fixed it for me. i dont know how they narrowed it down to that though. if you dont have it figured out by this afternoon, i will hit him up and see of he can help you out.
