Will he be fired? No. It simply cost too much and the university is struggling as it is. IMO, the whole coaching staff is to blame for poor play calling and clock management for the past few seasons.
On top of all that, our O-line sucks and Jefferson looks like he is a kid lost in the mall most of the time... no awareness whatsoever

He started out strong only because he enjoyed Saban's recruiting classes. I was one of those guys still didn't subscribe to Miles after the Championship( which he won with Saban's team).

They'll use the argument that a losing team causes revenues to drop so in order to keep the athletic department self-sufficient, it's make more sense to get rid of him.
People always talk about "Saban's recruits." Miles has never had a recruiting class outside of the top ten, three of which were ranked #1 by Rivals.
Miles has never lost an out-of-conference game at LSU. Ever. That also includes blowouts in every bowl game.
I'm not ready to call for Miles' head-- I'm just pointing out that the time was poorly managed yesterday & the last two years-- with young quarterbacks, mind you-- have been sketchy.
Let's let Jefferson have a year under his belt at starter. We all knew this year would be kind of a throwaway year anyway. Next year is the year that LSU looks quite scary.

They have no stand out leader on the team, and have been over rated most of this season. Remember Jordan is still a rookie, and should be much better next year.
The years we've won championships, the QBs were well developed with a pretty good defense.
The loss to Ole Miss was inexcusable though given the amount of time that ran off of the clock from not calling a timeout.
So what was the deal that game? I caught the last play at work and saw them get the hail mary pass but they just threw the ball down? WHy no time out or why didnt they atleast attempt to run a play if kickin team wasnt ready?
