A Franklinton man pleaded guilty on Monday to vehicular homicide and vehicular negligent injuring and received 25 years in prison for a 2005 Lake Pontchartrain Causeway accident that left a car aflame and a Mandeville-area man dead.
Troy Seeger, 43, smashed a van into a Lincoln Continental driven by Wayne D. Corkern, 60, of the Mandeville area on Aug. 8, 2005, on the southbound span of the Causeway. Corkern and a 12-year-old passenger were about five miles south of Mandeville when their car got a flat tire and Seeger's Ford Econoline slammed into it, according to police.
A St. Tammany Parish coroner's autopsy determined that Corkern did not die from the burns he suffered as fellow commuters and bridge police struggled to remove him from his blazing car. Although second-degree burns covered 35 percent to 40 percent of Corkern's body, Corkern died of severe injuries to his chest, back and lungs, according to the autopsy.
Authorities said four or five drivers, in addition to several bridge police officers, tried to help Corkern, who was pinned behind the steering wheel. Corkern's size -- people involved with the case have said Corkern was extremely overweight -- made it difficult for him to get out of the car on his own, and it took others longer to remove him from the vehicle, authorities said.
Corkern was taken by ambulance to Lakeview Regional Medical Center, where he died about two hours later.
Seeger had Vicoprofen, a prescription pain reliever, and Soma, a prescription muscle relaxant, in his system at the time of the crash, causing him to be impaired, authorities said.
Seeger has four misdemeanor convictions in St. Tammany Parish. He pleaded guilty to first-offense DWI on March 16, 2005; contributing to the delinquency of a minor in December 2001; simple battery in September 2001; and a boating violation in March 2001....
I know a lot of you don't know but I'm selling my car.... I've had my fun with the 350z as far as modding and racing a little but I've never actually tracked it. Hopefully the next owner can show me what I was doing wrong with a Supercharged 350z. I fell in love with the 370z when I sat in it. It is an excellent upgrade from the 350z. I know a lot of people don't like it from first glance but when you see it more and more, I promise you'll love it.

Lol....on another note...i think imma bump down from 245/40/18 to 225/40/18 that way i wont rub in the front and can put a 25mm spacer on the rear....i dont think the 225 will be too bad of a stretch
This is a 225/40/18 on a 9.5 rim.

Bradley or Lance...will this much stretch be a no no for Autox? I know the 225 already are gunna be shat for grip lol...but will it be really shat because of the stretch? Might just by some cheap wheels if so and get some rcomps or something. Idk.

but yea if they dont make the 235/35 then i guess go with the 225/40
or you can cop some a arms and go with a 245/35 instead of 245/40 like you have and run more camber but thats more money =(
