I've had it since I was three. When my mom came up last year for Hurricane Gustav (it looked like it was heading right for Thibodaux), I asked her to bring it up, just in case.

Same for my parents. They lucked out & got it about a month before the neighbors. Something about their transformer not being fuct. The neighbors didn't get power for almost three months.
