Southern Sliders Sock Hop Drift Event - by NoDRFT 8/26/12 - New Orleans, LA
Got the back to school blues? No worries, Nodrft is keeping the summer fun going with our "Southern Sliders Sock Hop" drift event taken place at Nola MotorSports Park. Be prepaid for some laid back, fun, low down, drift-boggie-wooggiee action. Here's the run down:
Drift time:
9am-5pm
car safety tech inspection 8am-9am(dont be late!)
the sooner we knock out the tech for cars, the earlier we can start drifting!
Price:
$60 pre-registration(before Aug. 16)
$75 late-registration(after Aug. 16)
Registration/Payment:
Include your full name and drift car, send a paypal payment as a GIFT to azncmb@hotmail.com
Pre-register price is $60, from NOW until 11:59pm August 16.
After Aug 16, late-registration fees are incurred, only $75 even if you show up on driftday and want to pay and play.
Everyone from new to experience is welcomed, there will be no tandem runs, but it is an all out drift day so you will get plenty of seat time. We will have instructors on site for anyone who wants to ride in or wants the instructor to ride in their drift cars. Passengers are welcomed as long as they have a helmet(provide yourself).
Tech rules/Safety regulations:
Please make sure your drift car is up to date with general maintenance and no loose parts or leaky fluid can fall on track.
Here are a few simple must haves that is requiried to pass tech:
Working seatbelts, all people in car wear helmets(chin strapped), stiff/working brakes and pedal, ALL wheel lugs/studs, battery tie down.
Support your grassroots events. Bring your family, tell your friends, everyone, come out and enjoy a full day of fun in the sun!

Don't forget, Late registration takes effect after this thursday(8/16)
