Slow, I agree, we carry the 40 at work and I have to qualify with it, but I can get so many more rounds down range, quicker and with more accuracy with the 9mm. F the xd 40. Just picked up this bad boy today. Matches well with my M&P 9mm.

 

Gun show at Westland Mall this weekend - if you've never been, it's a pretty awesome collection. There will be a few Z's in the parking lot on Sunday, mine included. Looking for a Kahr compact 9 mm - damned Glock is way too heavy/bulky for CC, at least for my skinny ***, lol.

 

I was considering going to that myself. I couldn't imagine cc with a glock. Personally I cc a taurus 605: snub nose 357. It is not a superlight version so it is still somewhat heavy, however extremely concealable.

Any gatherings coming up? (poker/charity runs). Anyone here done the Tail of the Dragon/Deals Gap in TN/NC? I'm thinking about heading that way last week of March.

 

I doubt there are going to be a meets "soon" as winter seems to have re-appeared this week. Personally I don't think my car is moving for at least another month.

Are you on g35driver? Ohio G club is having a club meeting this weekend in grove city at roosters. I'll be attending.

I grew up in GROVETUCKY and graduated from there in 1988. When are you meeting at Rooster's? I'm going to the Easyrider at the Columbus Convention Center Friday evening and onto dinner.

I just checked on a calendar of events for the Tail of the Dragon and did not see a "Z" day on the calendar I found. When is Z days?

I'm going to stop on my way down and have the car tuned & dynoed at Dynosty's new shop in Lexington, KY the last week of March. Then onto the Tail.

 

ZdayZ is May 17-19 www.zdayz.com Bunch of folks from ZROC are already registered, may be too late to get a room now though. Last I heard the Village was about sold out but you could stay off site. Also a group is going to ZAttack in Nashville April 13-14 put on by the Middle TN Z Club. ZROC usually starts up second weekend in April, nothing firm on the calendar yet but we generally do a cruise every month, along with some track days. We are hosting the Midwest Z Regional at the Arthritis Foundation Car Show in July, check out the FB pages for both that and ZROC.

 

My vacation is already schedule to conicide w/my son being out on spring break.

 

Saturday 4 pm and following that with an organizational meeting about a road rally, Jeremy - OGC President, is heading up. Most of the event times and dates are on facebook I could send you an invite to all these groups if you are on there.

 

Maybe I'll come out. My wife has had the urge for some wings lately. I don't do facebook.

 

How did the meeting go? I wanted to come out, but installing my new Kinetix V+ plenum took longer than I expected. Got side tracked with the inventory of several drinks with the frig in the garage.

 

Lifes too short to drink **** beer. Tell me it was at least a good brew.

 

Of course you can afford good beer, you only have 1 drink then "don't feel good".

meeting was good, went kinda long but i think the ohio g club is going to have some good events this year. since it seems i'm on here way more than everyone else from driver I'll try to keep the ohio thread updated with any events we have planned.
