ZROC is heading SE to Rt 555 and points south on Saturday Sept 10. No meeting/departure time yet but probably in the AM from the rest stop near Buckeye Lake, with a possible hookup here in town for those who want to. These are the best roads in Ohio if you like 'em twisty/hilly! Be nice to see one of you show up since everyone is always clamoring for a cruise, lol

Suspension sucks on those Z31's, lol. Or was he doing an oil change?

 

Unfortunately there are no videos of the actual event. We did inspect his driveline and everything while it was up though, haha. Other than the front bumper and one of the intercooler piping couplers there was no damage. We autox'd later and then went out for dinner; car worked fine. The right blinker even started working again somehow.


It's $20 to drift, $5 to watch/ride.

 

Sounds good I'll try and make it out, but having never officially drifted before is there a teacher or learning segment for newbs?

 

The best way to learn is by doing. Just go drift through the infield where there's nothing to hit but huge combine tires If you have a spare set of rims/tires you'll want to bring those too.

Cleveland Z club is doing a SE Ohio overnight cruise to Marietta Sept 17-18. Best roads in Ohio - some of the same roads ZROC will be cruising this Saturday.

I've been tossing the idea around of selling the Z lately. I had decided to hold off and wait atleast another year or so. However, a buyer basically fell into my lap this past week. So tomorrow is the last day I'll own my Z.

Its a sad state of affairs, but I got a good price for it, and I'm looking towards bigger and better things.

So if you see an asian punk girl driving my Z in dayton, give her a wave.

 

Thanks Sluggo! I mailed in my application yesterday and talked to Ray on the phone. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a hotel room and stay the night with you guys (underage) so I may just go down the 17th and drive back on my own that night. But still looking forward to it all the same, especially because I should have my new exhaust on by then
