Haha... You know what my answer is..... build your car up in the winter so at least its doing somthing and then when spring hits the rush is even greater!!!!!!!!!
9.5 compression would be more efficent, with 8.5 you are playing with trouble basically.... is this gonna be your every day driver? What else do you plan to do with it?
What I want in the end is to run 2 map settings one at around 400 to the wheels and one around 650 to the wheels. I want this to be a daily driver which will last at least 100k. All I am doing right now is building the bottom end, the turbos wont be coming for a LONG time. This alone is costing me $$$$$. I hear that 9.5 is good because you dont have to run as much boost to get the same power but detonation will be an issue. I've talked with the guys from performance motorsport ( the guys with the 1800+) hp z drag car and they said 9.5 is fine. However my issues are longevity, detonation, and fuel type. I would like to keep it on 94 octane.
Go with the 9.5 ratio... I am also talking to performance motorsports and the tunning factory who will be doing my planned build up... What kind of engine management are you going to use... UTEC, HKS F-CON PRO???
Jason, why are you selling? who's gonna go to milan with me man? lol.
Lease is up and my partner screwed me in my business. I needed something a little more practical. So I just leased a MINIVAN!! YIKES I would join you at milan but I just don't think 16 second 1/4 miles are cool. Maybe I will pick up a Skyline when they come out and we can go then . The Z was fun for the last 3 years I just can't afford to keep it and another car.
