(ie.) - in my opinion, to get a high hp reliable car with over 600 rwhp, you'd need sleeves, forged pistons, forged rods, cams, head & main stud kit, upraded intake manifold, probably a 3 inch exhaust, 650 cc or higher injectors, return fuel system, very strong clutch that's streetable such as a 2 or 3 carbon disc ATS, level 5 half axles, an upgraded LSD such as the carbon LSD from ATS, an upgraded radiator and possibly oil cooler, and a UTEC or a stand alone for optimum control.
The investment is large and I think traction will be a major issue with all this power. I have traction issues already and only have 446 or so rwhp and something like 424 rwtq. I can't imagine adding 200 more of each and trying to control it. Plus, I don't know about you, but the estimate I got was sorta outrageous. I may wait for the GTR? Who knows.
In any event, good luck on your build. Hopefully, they are using a torque plate in the process? I read stories where a torque plate wasn't used and there is major noise from piston slap in the cylinders. Sharif, posted something about this several months ago, as did Phunk I beleive. I figured your engine build would be completed by now. Hasn't it been 2 1/2 weeks already?

actucally Its a Black 350z supercharged was done at Autowerks..
I understand where your coming from, as for traction I am going wit use 315 size tires, off course they are using a torque plate. I am going with 750cc injectors so no need for fuel return injectors should be at 60-70% duty cycle. Actually they are building my engine after the show because they had no time , Also Johns engine should be there pretty soon also.

Well, I am very close to being at Zdayz for Saturday and Sunday. I have to be in Sparta, TN on Friday and Monday for an Audit at one of our plants. I will know more within a couple of weeks. I will most likely have to stay in Bryson City becasue Fontana will be booked by then. Anyone beside Zless going? If so do you have room? for Friday night through Saturday night.

I was there. Saw all four Zs and all were very nice. Should of put my Z in the show. Oh well maybe next year. Yancy, clean your plenum, it looked dirty and when I was standing there this guy was commenting on the yellow stuff in the plenum bolt. I wanted to say something back but couldn't come up with a good come back to defend it. Sorry, I tried.
