Yancy, what are your numbers after the rebuild?

Hey Mike,
The car put down 655 rwhp at Tuning Factory at the end of last summer. I personally do not think it really made 655 rwhp though because dyno's can be so easily manipulated by the operator. For example, on another dyno, it put down somwhere in the 560's rwhp on pump gas.

In any event, my car never seemed to run or work for very long (ie. I've had it for less than a month over the past 12 months). That's all getting taken care of now though. Car is in Georgia getting a lot of things fixed/installed correctly so my car is once again reliable. The engine is out of the car and should be reasembled by Forged Performance this week. It's getting an all new tune and a race gas tune too. Hopefully, I'll have the new numbers next week at this time.

 

yancy i knew you would bring the car to sharif , i don't know if you remember me say you should bring it to sharif . anyways you're in good hands man .

 

Yeah, It's been at Sharif's for about a month getting a lot of things fixed/repaired like I said in my earlier post. Unfortunately, there was a lot more going on with the car than I knew of. It's in really good hands now and I enjoy how Sharif runs his business. He seems to be on top of his game with these cars and also on how to run a business. It's really nice getting email updates and courtesy phone calls from him just to let me know what's going on. It should be done really soon and I'll finally be able to enjoy my car after a very long and expensive wait (not due to Forged Performance).

Billy-this summer sometime I will make a run up there...for now I stick to the Dearborn meet...its FAR for me to drive up to OU

yo, is there a meet tomorrow? or is anyone free to help me out? my stupid stock bose ate my cd, and dealer wont cover it cuz the warranty is gone. anyone know how to remove the stupid headunit so i can take it apart? plsssss help

man what the hell, such a complicated process to remove such a stupid head unit. anyone know what a good replacement head unit is? double din preferably on the less expensive side

CRAIG-whats up man!

There is a meet both in Dearborn and at OU...
They are both all kinds of imports/a few domestics.
They are both at 8-8:30ish and go til usually about 10.

The one in OU is at the parking structure ion the middle of campus
The Dearborn meet is in the NEW parking structures in Downtown dearborn just off Mich Ave.

Either one is a good time...I go to the Dearborn one now, due to my new location..I wil go to the OU meet though some time soon.
