I actually put an order in back at the end of May, and she came in last Wednesday. Ordered from Dick Scott in Canton. They seem to mean well, but there were a few bumps along the way. All that's in the past though. I think they have a couple touring models on hand right now if anyone is looking for a short wait.

As far as the roads go, she doesn't mind getting a little dirty, I just need to be sure to wash her down before the temperature drops again.

havent seen another Z in the area at all. I got mine in August.

 

Well, I started it, so I'll apologize (sort of) and stop. It's just been a long time since ND had a real coach and a real team. I actually root for UofM when they aren't playing us, as two of my sisters graduated from there.

I'll be in Ann Arbor with my CS Touring 6 speed for Christmas. If you're going to be around 12/25 - 12/27 PM me. Maybe we can get together.

 

I have friends that like ND, doesn't mean I hate them. The new coach brought some fire back to a team that seemed to have lost their swagger. No need to apologize (sort of).

Anybody else want to meet up? Possibly a mini Z meeting in Ann Arbor. If there is enough interest, I'll start a new thread. Only seems like a couple people in the area.

 

I am also in the Ann Arbor area and may be interested in a get together, just let me know the time and place.

 

I would be more than game for a get together, but I'm headin' south for the holidays. Maybe sometime after New Year's.

I currently own a 93 300TT, but it's stored for winter(only storage insurance on it right now). I am trying hard to persuade myself to go to the dealer and order the 350Z.


Hey bbray, thanks for sharing the info on dealership. The last time I was in Dick Scott, they said they had a SS touring, but was reluctant to show it to me. Did Ann Arbor Nissian not interest you? I just thought it is the closest dealer in town that most will order from there.

Hey mickey, basically what happened was every dealer I called had filled their preorders and were quoting December delivery. Dick Scott told me they had a preorder still open and could expect an October delivery. But, they lied and I still got my car in December. Oh, well.

 

bbray, thanks for the reply. I am not suprise at all about the empty promises that some dealers offer. I guess the golden rule is never let a deal slip, even if it means to be slightly dishonest.

I will keep an eye out for your CS Z. If you see an asian guy running across the street toward your Z screaming "This is mickey form my350z.com", it's just harmless me admiring the Z.

BTW, have you seen a Leman Sunset running around town?

The dock workers strike might have had something to do with the delay. I really want to see a LeMans sunset because I liked the color, but I didn't know if it looked like the Ford Focus orange or the Cadillac CTS orange or something else.
