Where are the best race tracks in the area... by area i mean IL, IN, WI... Ive been to RT66 and Union Grove? any other good ones out there?

Blackhawk is in Rockford

Gingerman is in South Haven Michigan (I sold my '91 Alfa Romeo 164S to Dan Schnittel the owner)

Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI

then there is always Dodie, the stockyards, or Schaumburg for some good ole fashioned illegal fun

I believe he meant 1/4 mile tracks, not road courses.

Anyhow, here goes.

1) GLD (Union Grove) is a horrid track, if you think this track is even DECENT you need to up your standards my friend

2) US41 in Morocco, IN is decent.
3) Byron Dragway in Byron, IL is awesome, the fastest track in the area. It doesn't look like much but I guarantee you will turn your fastest times there.
4) US131 in Martin Michigan is brand new, very modern, and very nice, though the management sucks.
