We've discussed it a bit already, but I figured I'd get the ball rolling on the Heavenly Bodies Z only meet we've been talking about.

For those who haven't been following the discussion, Heavenly Bodies is, as the name suggests, a place where attractive young ladies provide the entertainment.

I figured that rather than loiter around the parking lot of such an establishment, we should meet up somewhere else first, hang out, have a beer and grab something to eat. There is a place called Famous Freddies Roadhouse right down the street. It's decent with really cheap food (we'll need our money later) and has a huge back parking lot.

I was thinking we should meet up mid-afternoon before either place gets too crowded, so here's the agenda I was thinking of:

How does this sound? Do the times, places, etc. work for everyone? This should be a really good time, especially if ZGrrrl shows up.

Oh and sorry to the younger guys, but both places are 21 and over only.

 

this sounds like it will be quite the time. i might bring a lady friend of mine to hb's, so any other females should not worry about showing up. by the way, cover at hb's is $10, and drinks are free all night.

i will be there with a fistfull of dollars!

But I was the only guy who brought my girlfriend to the meet in Schaumburg on 3-01-03, at Fuddruckers. I thought the meet was supposed to be about the Z. That's why I showed up.

If you guys want to make an excuse to go to a strip club, I could not support you more, but let's get real and not use this as an excuse for guys who can't get some on their own. I was hoping this would be a place to have a couple meets a year to BS about cars and have a good time, not a "bachelor party".

If that's what's going to happen every time, count me out.

 

I guess you're out then. A bunch of us voted, and from now on all meets will be at strip clubs. Actually, next time we're cruising for hookers in Cicero.

Seriously, come on, a bunch of us talked at the last two meets and on here about going to a strip club. I guess this isn't really a Z meet, but more a bunch of guys with Z's going to a strip club. Having met many of the other Z guys several times now, I think some of us consider each other friends and are now at the point where we can do something that is not just car related.

If you don't like the venue, then don't come. Nowhere in this thread did it indicate that this meet was manditory for all Z owners. There will be plenty more meets focussed on the Z instead of naked women.

The latest weather for Saturday says Partly Cloudy/Windy 39°/23°, but no snow. Do we want to proceed as planned?

Can we get a head count of all the guys and girl (where's ZGrrrl?) who "can't get some on their own" and are planning on attending Saturday?

 

I'm for going, IF dirty Z's are allowed.........

ZGrrrl, I wouldn't worry about the sunburn; chances are the lighting will be fairly dim. Sunburn does suck though, I got burnt pretty bad in Miami a couple months ago (my fault for not using any sunblock)...

I had a great time allbeit the whole DAMN RED CARD thing, i really appreciated how you guys were like "Fuc$ that place then". It was great to meet all of you, cant wait for the next meet. Roof Top BRBQ sound good to anyone once the weather breaks.

I hope you guys had a blast...As for me....I got back in town late Friday...Found my Injen cai waiting for me and decided hey Sat I am gonna install this baby...whole cow.....little did I know it would take half a century to remove the bumper...and then I get everything ripped off and start the install only to find they shorted me the inline filter diffuser...so I put everything else on it and just electrical taped the 15"19mm hose to the stock hose So of course injen and the place I bought it through weren't answering their phones yesterday..so I was totally caught with my pants down.. So this is why I didn't make it to your soiree...it would've been fun...but my attitude quickly spiraled downward as the install progressed.....anyway hope it was a good time Hope to catch you guys at the next one and I can then show off my complete system...oh BTW what is the inline filter diffuser? Is it safe to drive my car with those hoses just taped together? Fill me in cuz I am totally hangin here

Sorry some of you couldn't make it this time. As ChicagoEZ described, we never make it into HB's due to the "jag" working the door.

The biggest thing you guys missed was my slightly buzzed rendition of Frank Sinatra's "My Way" at the dive bar with Karaoke where we ended the evening. I guess there's always next time. Thanks to Jason for driving after we dropped my Z off at my house.
