I'll probably be leaving thursday evening along with another z'er. Not sure where you guys are caravaning out of and what time but i'll be leaving beavercreek/dayton probably around 8-9'ish

 

At night? That may work better for me. I have a Thursday night class and if I have a test I have to go in and at least take that. Unless you guys want to leave EARLY Friday morning? I got about 4 people leaving with me if you want to meet up either in Columbus or in Cincy along to route.

 

well my wife is going and she won't be home till like 7 pm. So I figure we'll get on our way around 8-9 ish. Should be able to get down there around 1-2 am. Let me know if you guys want to meet up. I've got another z coming with me I believe. I prefer driving at night, less traffic.

 

As do I, but we only have our cabin for Fri and Sat night. Might have to leave Early Friday morning.

 

oh ok, we got thursday, friday, saturday, we didnt get a cabin at fontana we're staying in townsend in a cabin.

There's a few from ZROC leaving Friday, I'll pass this thread along to them. Also, just heard of a cabin opening up for the weekend, someone had to cancel his plans. If you still need a place to stay, call FVR and see if anything has opened up. I'm heading down with 2 others on MONDAY! Eat your hearts out!

BTW, if you want a "tuneup" for the Dragon, ZROC is meeting at the McDonalds just north of Lancaster at 10:00 AM on May 12 for the annual Hocking Hills cruize. Always a hoot, you're welcome to tag along. Usually about 20-25 show up for this one. Open to all around central Ohio.

 

for all those still looking for cabins, there are some pretty nice ones in the townsend area, one place is thepreserveresort . It's a little drive to fontana but i think everything in fontana has been booked for a while.

 

Woot, we are in the same cabin we had last year. We are in the cabin on the corner of hillside and welch. We have a pretty big grassy area next to our cabin, and it worked pretty well for our firepit last year. Here's the map:

OK. I got a room at Fontana Village. I will be leaving on Thursday and swinging through Lexington KY to pick up a friend in another 350 who is going. I can't wait.
