Anyone want to help install pads/fluid/rotors/ss lines tomorrow? I've never done lines before and I'm nervous i'll **** something up haha. Probably start around 8-9, shouldn't take that long.

Got talked through it from a friend, less nervous about it now. But I'm willing to host an install night with some burgers/beer for those interested. Would be a good chance to meet some of us before the caravan Thursday. I'll be doing my brakes tomorrow, re-torquing/checking the suspension, and detailing it tomorrow.

Alright everyone in the Thursday caravan. We are meeting the the first rest stop in kentucky off 71/75 at 11AM. We will leave the rest stop no later than 11:30. This should put us in fontana no later than 5-6 taking into account a brief stop for lunch/gas and the liquor/beer stop. If you want my cell # PM me and I can give it to you in case you can't find the stop.

Got your messages. Thanks. We will be at the rest stop in Northern KY at 11am or earlier. Can't wait. We are totally stoked.

As for the car, I did a drive by on the body shop. Because of some things they said before I dropped it off, I am a little nervous. I made it clear to them in no uncertain terms that the car MUST be done tomorrow at 5PM. At any rate, on the first drive by, the car was in the lot, but it had gravel dust from the back lot on the tires. So, they at least moved it. A few minutes later, it was inside the shop. So, at least they are doing something with it. The place is busy, so I am a little worried. I am going to call them tomorrow to make sure they are on schedule.

Here is the most important tip: DO NOT let the reservoir empty below the "MIN" line. Trust me, doing so could stop you from going to Zdayz and may require a trip to the dealer. Just keep an eye on the level and work quickly. You can easily swap out one line before it drains too low.

Yeah, my friend who has done it before walked me through it, I got an extra bottle just for this reason. Nothing will stop me from going to zdayz! haha

Can the caravan stop in Lexington to pick up another Z on the way to 129? I am trying to figure out where to get my friend in Lexington to meet us. He lives off of the Man O war exit in Lexington. Any suggestions?

Last time we picked people up in lexington I think we met them off exit 104 at wendy's. Not sure if that's by him or not, but it would be a good stopping point for some grub, since if we leave the rest stop at 11:15-11:30 it'll be around lunch time when we pick him up.

I think that may be his exit or at least close to it. Let's do that. I'll tell him to meet us there.

Push - Any more details about the brake install on your car tonight? Just wondering what time and where to go. Hopefully the rain has stopped for this week. And, I still need to install some interior speakers in the Z before we go to ZDayZ so I can have some decent tunes to listen to on the way there and back.

I'll be back at my house no later than 7:30 so I figure give the brakes an hour or so to cool so I'll probably start on them at 9. I'm getting some redline mtl and mt90 today too and freshening up the manual tranny fluid. I'll pm you with my address and my phone #

Cool, got it. I'll plan on being there right around 9. If it is raining, i'll be driving my beater which is a Black VW Golf.

Confirmed that the wendy's is of exit 104, at least according to the 2006 thread.
