what's the plans on this? Columbus people? caravan down from where? start at marietta and drive towards chesterhill? Drive down to Morgan County... hit Chesterhill and drive over to Marietta that way?

Yeah i live in Marietta so i'd be down. But one thing is don't do it at the start of the month, cops are cracking down on spped limits at the start and end of each month. Theres a bulldog b*&^h of a cop that is at the Belpre exit on 676.

 

Wait forget about the 676 thing, i was thinking 7

I think the most of us are going to meet at my place in Columbus and drive down together. Marietta people can meet at the park at the end of 676 near town. Anyone else can meet up with us wherever they want along the way.

 

Little too far of a drive for me. If it's near Marietta that means at least 3 hours one way, just isn't worth it for a day. Maybe when it's closer.

so what's the plan and time? meet in marietta and drive it backwards or meet in say Zanesville... make the way down to Morgan County and drive all of 676 over to Marietta? You can take 60 from Zanesville down to McConnelsville and take 37/377 to Chesterhill then hit 676 the whole way to Marietta.

 

Where are you coming from?

 

We don't have everything worked out yet. I'm going to meet up with Clay in Columbus and then possibly pass down through Hocking Hills and then on to 676. We should probably set up a meeting point at the beginning of 676 and then we'll all drive it together. Once we get to Marietta we'l stop at cook-out at a state park or possibly get a bite to eat somewhere. Does anyone know of a good meeting point? I've never been down there so I don't know where anything is.

I am a teacher and alot of graduations are happening, including mine (my masters) so if a student invites, they have priority. Sorry. If no invites come my way, Im in.
