So a few weeks ago, I come home and all of my screens on my windows are up on my house! I think oh $hit, my stuff! Well, they didn't get in. So I am more aware now of keeping the blinds drawn....until thursday night. I am in my office (it is right beside my living room) and I hear my living room screen slide up...I look out and some 18ish year old hood punk (baggy pants, blunt in his hand, nice cheap a$$ grill) is looking under my door mat for a key! I AM HOME AND THE TV AND ALL THE LIGHTS ARE ON!

So I open the door really fast and he bolts (over the fence and into a yard with 3 pitbulls!). Call the cops.....now this is where it gets good.


HE COMES RIGHT BACK! Now, I don't own a gun, don't even have a bat! I manage to scare him away again, but I spent all day friday moving out.

Gonna live with the girlfriend now until our house is built in Monticello. I used to live in a decent area, but the pieces of crap have bikes and will travel.

Just needed to vent!

 

Maybe he was looking for a bucket of fried chicken.

My Sister and Brother-in-law used to live in Decatur...It supposedly used to be a nice place to live...I never had the chance to visit them when they were living there, but they had a real nice house in a calm neighborhood...Maybe they can catch that punk soon...He's either retarded or real bold to just try to break into someones home while they are there

 

I don't really see what there is in the central IL area. I grew up in Champaign, but to me Springfield, Danville, Decatur etc are all the same dead towns. I joined the military so I'd never have to go back, and don't plan to.

Went to Millikin 03-05, gotta agree, not the best area. Drove down 3hrs, thew my crap in my apartment(this was my first day/night at school), drive back up to Tinley Park for an Aerosmith concert, then drive back down. Get to the Hardees right off campus to grab some 3:30am food, and there are about 10 cars and 10 cop cars in the gas station across the street. Mind my own business, go to my apartment, and crash. Check out my school email in the AM and there was a campus security notice email.....3 people were shot at that gas station, which is basically on campus! Welcome to D-Town.....left and never looked back . Glad to hear you're moving

 

i hate decatur also!!!!!!!!!!! but it's a diffrent one called uss decatur. thats the name of my ship out here in san diego. so many damn haters.

I guess you haven't been in Decatur GA lol. I work there in a MetroPCS store and its pretty damn ghetto. But I am used to that since I come from New York and seen worse.

 

no...never been to D-town GA....and i understand when there is a reason to be ghetto.....but there is no reason here....just worthless pieces of crap breeding worthless pieces of crap.
