Hey guys just picked up my long awaited Z and wanted to know if there were any metro detroit area tuning shops that have experience installing a suspension setup on a Z

Thanks.

What do you need done
there is a small group of us who install alot of things on the Z's during the weekends....

Just thinking depending on what it is, we may be able to help save you some $$$$ on the install...

Tuning Factory is good with stuff like that, and so is Street Legal Performance.

Hope to see you around

AJ-

i would love it if someone who's done it before give me a hand. I have all the tools to do it and have experience with fwd cars (few mitsu's, VW's) but have never put one in a Z or any RWD car.

Im picking up a set of 19in 5 Zigens and know that im going to want to lower it after i have them on. Any suggestions on suspension? Right now im looking at the tien basic coilovers, or a tien/tokico combo...

Mzack- I was unaware that Dick Scott would do things like that, that is AWESOME.

350Zeldas..I have never done any suspension mod installs on a 350Z myself.
I know Nick and Mike put on a Strut tower brace..no biggy
I have worked on alot of RWD cars though, and it shouldn't be that bad
If you have the tools, I am confident we can figure it out. As for suggestions I would stick with the guys in the Suspension forum, and do a good search I am sure you can find the answers you are looking for.

OhSixZ..that is a falacy, there are a good amount of imports in michigan. Not nearly as many as everywhere else in the country thats for sure!

I was wondering too, other than a dealership, are there any tuning shops, with Dynos and with good knowledge on tuning the Z?
